Welcome to Day 4

Today's Supplies

Essential Materials: Inkpad, Scotch Tape, soft brush, powder, paper, Strawberry, snack bag, water, salt, dawn dish soap, salt, isopropyl alcohol, shoes, paint,


Recommended Materials:

  1. Fingerprinting

    1. Ink pad (preferably black)

    2. Clean mirror

    3. Magnifying glass

    4. Scotch tape

    5. Soft brush

    6. 4-5 small bowls to contain powders

    7. 2 sheets of white paper

    8. Sheet of black paper (construction paper)

    9. Selection of powders such as cornstarch, flour, cocoa, talcum, chalk, or gravy

  1. Strawberry DNA

    1. Strawberries/Banana/Raspberry/Cucumber

    2. Snack bags

    3. Water

    4. Salt

    5. Isopropyl alcohol (Must be as cold as possible)

    6. Dish Soap

    7. Tweezers

    8. Small and medium beakers (cups)

    9. Strainer

    10. Spoon

    11. Measuring cup with millilitres

    12. ¼ tsp measuring spoons

  1. Shoe Imprints

    1. Shoes (will get dirty)

    2. Paint or powder

    3. Paper

    4. Space to make a mess
